In recognition of National Parkinson’s Month in April, learn about Parkinson’s disease and your health, and your rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
According to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is a brain disorder affecting nearly 1 million people in the United States. This number is expected to rise to 1.2 million by 2030. Parkinson’s Disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s Disease.
