According to the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, Parkinson’s Disease (PD) is a brain disorder affecting nearly 1 million people in the United States. This number is expected to rise to 1.2 million by 2030. Parkinson’s Disease is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer’s Disease.

Parkinson Association of the Carolinas
Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, or PAC, is an independent regional nonprofit that serves the Parkinson’s communities across the Carolinas.
