
Director of Programs & Innovation for Boys & Girls Clubs of America
Katie Anderson is a disabled woman who has over 13 years of experience in disability advocacy and accommodation. She is currently a Director of Programs & Innovation for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where she helps create and implement youth development programming for all Club sites nationally. Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 2022, Katie worked in public event accessibility compliance for a touring pop culture convention company. Katie holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University with dual concentrations in Public Policy and Mental Health. She earned her ADA Coordinator certification through the University of Missouri- College of Arts and Sciences, School of Architectural Studies, and the Great Plains ADA Center, and most recently presented on accessible out-of-school time programming at the National ADA Symposium.
