Marnie Mountjoy is the Director of the Division of Aging and Physical Disabilities in the Kentucky Department for Aging and Independent Living.  Mrs. Mountjoy began her career with the Commonwealth of Kentucky in May of 2000 with the Department for Community Based Services.  For five years, she served as a child protective service worker in the Division of Protection and Permanency.  In August 2005, she joined the Department of Aging and Independent Living and since that time, she has served in a variety of rolls including overseeing the administration of programing funded by the Older Americans Act and pursuing additional grant opportunities to expand and enhance the services offered by the department.  In her current roll she supports the Commissioner of the Department and oversees aging and physical disability program services offered through the department.

Ms. Mountjoy is a 1997 graduate of Western Kentucky University where she earned a B.A. in both Psychology and Sociology and has pursued graduate studies in School Counseling at Middle Tennessee State University.
