New England ADA Center
Oce Harrison, EdD, directed the New England ADA Center from 2001-2023. She is currently managing ADA Special Projects and provides ADA, Addiction, and Recovery trainings throughout the region and nationally. Dr. Harrison created an ADA addiction recovery toolkit with the National Hispanic and Latino Addiction Technology Transfer Center. She has presented for the Opioid Response Network; National Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC); Massachusetts Organization for Addiction and Recovery (MOAR); and on behalf of Learn to Cope in 25 cities and towns. Oce led the ADA National Network in creating the ADA, Addiction and Recovery Fact Sheet Series, and published an article in NAADAC’s magazine on How the ADA Addresses ADA, Addiction and Recovery (Spring 2020).
In 2022, Oce received an award from the Massachusetts US Attorney’s Office of Civil Rights for excellence in extensive outreach promoting protections under the ADA to people with opioid use disorders, their families and addiction professionals.
