ADA Director, Atlanta Department of Transportation
Shauncey Battle is a proud mother and a dedicated public servant whose work is rooted in the belief that government should work for everyone. With over a decade of experience, she currently serves as the Transportation Compliance Director for the City of Atlanta Department of Transportation leading efforts to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Her work focuses on turning complex requirements into practical solutions that improve how people move through and experience their communities.
She holds a Juris Doctor degree and is a Certified ADA Coordinator (ACTCP). Outside of her professional work, Shauncey values time with her daughter and remains actively engaged in her community, including serving on the Board of Directors of a local public charter school. Whether in her professional role or in her community, she is committed to building systems that are thoughtful, responsive, and designed to serve people first.
