Stephanie Berger

Attorney Advisor, Disability Rights Section (DRS) of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice

Stephanie joined the Disability Rights Section in 2015. She holds a B.A. from Arizona State University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Within DRS Stephanie is a member of the Regulations, Interpretation, and Coordination team, where she provides legal advice and interpretations regarding the nondiscrimination requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (section 504). In addition, Stephanie assists in developing regulations implementing the ADA and section 504 and works closely with other agencies under Executive Order 12250 to help coordinate the consistent implementation and enforcement of section 504.
